Hedy Lamarr, born November 9th, 1914, is the reason we have wifi today. At an early age, Hedy was privately tutored. She showed aptitude in acting and was immediately sent to a drama school. Her major contribution is a device which, at the time, ended radio jamming for good, and, at a later time, helped lead to the invention of wifi, and is even used today in sattelites and phones. Hedy has appeared in many movies, along with a ton of cameos. She passed away on January 19, 2000.
